“Starts in January the filming of the television series Class 5B, directed by Iuli Gerbase and produced by Prana Films. Intended for children, the series tells the story of a fifth-grade elementary school class, the 5B, who is really clever as messy (as you can see in the photo below, where all the kids appears mocking director Iuli).”

“Produced by Prana Films, the series presents a fifth grade class that drives the fictional Scholl General Coelho crazy. (…) For the series, 185 young actors were tested, until the main nine were found, besides the supporting ones. There are those who have already studied theater (like Helena Becker and Ana Júlia Vargas) and those who had already appeared in advertising (Ezequias), but most of the young actors had no experience with the cameras.”

“Three classes, crazy teachers, rebellious and rowdy students, and a school on the verge of madness. This is the background of Class 5B, TV series directed by Iuli Gerbase and produced by Prana Films. (…) Fleeing from the aspect of educational program, Iuli explains that the intention was to make the small spectators learn something in each episode, but that this happened in a fun way, not didactically.”
