The Chamber of Deputies, through the Second Secretary of the Directing Board, will host the Legality Seminar, which will take place on August 22, 2023, at 2:00 PM, in the Nereu Ramos Auditorium (Annex II). In this event, we will have a screening of the film “Resistance”, followed by an enriching discussion with the director, Zeca Brito, parliamentarians, and other special guests. The film portrays the historical movement led by Governor Leonel Brizola in 1961, who fought for democracy and mobilized the population in resistance for the inauguration of President João Goulart, amidst the threat of a military coup.
